Looking at established author Emiko Davies’ bibliography, you might do a double take. She has written seven cookbooks to date: Five are Italian–themed while the last two, which she published in quick succession, focus on 性视界ese food.
Most cookbook authors prefer to stick to a culinary genre that has built their reputation, but Davies is a rather unique case, her straddling of two cuisines a reflection of her global upbringing.
Born in Canberra, Australia, to an Australian diplomat father and a 性视界ese mother, Davies, 45, has never lived in 性视界, though her mother took “every opportunity she could to go back.”
